Help & Support
How do I play?
- Tap a tile that has nothing on top of it to lift it into Mochi's tray. Covered tiles look darker and wobble if you tap them.
- Three of a kind in the tray pop and vanish. Tiles of the same kind slide next to each other in the tray automatically.
- The tray holds seven tiles. If an eighth tile goes in without making a trio, the pile wins â undo or try again.
- Clear every tile to finish the pile. Finish without tools for three stars.
What do the tools do?
- âŠī¸ Undo puts the last tile back where it came from (it also works right after a tray overflow).
- đ Shuffle re-deals the objects on the tiles still in the pile. The solver checks the new deal is still solvable.
- đ¤ Pull out lifts the first three tiles out of the tray and sets them beside it; you can still tap them later.
- đĄ Hint is free and unlimited. It highlights the move our solver would make next and tells you why ("This one finishes a trio!"). Hints don't cost stars.
Tool charges are earned, never sold: every six stars you earn refills one charge of each tool (up to nine). Finishing the Daily Puzzle counts as three stars.
How does the Daily Puzzle work?
- Tap the Daily Puzzle banner on the home screen. Everyone in the world gets the same pile that day.
- A new pile arrives at midnight UTC (it may be the evening or early morning where you live).
- Your streak goes up by one the first time you finish each day's pile. Finish on back-to-back days to keep it growing; miss a day and the next finish starts a new streak at 1. Replays are free and only your best time is kept.
- The Daily Puzzle is made on your device from the date. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is sent anywhere.
What is Zen mode?
Zen has no tray limit and no fail. Clear pile after pile from every city, with unlimited undo, shuffle and pull-out. Your best run (most piles in a row) is saved on your device.
Why can't I open the next city?
Cities open in order: finish level 20 of a city to unlock the next one. Levels inside a city also open one after another.
Is every pile really solvable?
Yes. Every one of the 120 piles (and every Daily and Zen pile) is generated and then proven by a solver that must find a solution with at least one spare slot in the tray. If a pile feels stuck, use a hint â it is a real move from that proof.
The tiles are too small
Open âī¸ Settings on the home screen and switch on Big tiles. Objects are drawn to differ by shape as well as colour, so the game is playable for colour-blind players.
The music or sound is off
Open âī¸ Settings and switch Sound effects and Music on. On iPhone, sound plays even with the silent switch on. Calm effects turns off wobbles and sparkles if you prefer less motion.
Does the game collect anything?
No. There are no accounts, no ads and no personal data. Stars, tools, streaks and settings are saved on your device only. See our privacy policy.
